Thorson-Viehmeyer Family

The Thorson Family

• Harvey Tom Thorson had two older brothers - Bob and Keith.
• Bob and Onie Thorson had one daughter, Katie Thorson Hatch. Katie and Jim Hatch had two sons and a daughter - Don, Bob and Wendy - who live with their families in Spokane and Eastern Washington.
• Bob and Faye Thorson had three daughters and a son. They are Roger Thorson, Kara and Frank Hunt of Camano Island, Nancy and Daryl Franz of Pierce County, Washington, and Mary and Creed Noah of Cambridge, Idaho. There are numerous first cousins on this side of the family.

The Viehmeyer Family

• Ethel Viehmeyer Thorson had two sisters and a brother, and an "adopted" brother. Her sisters were Jessie Viehmeyer Krueger and Verna Viehmeyer Smith. Her brother was Glenn Viehmeyer.
• Jessie and Oramel Viehmeyer Krueger both lived most of their lives in Seattle and had no children
• Verna and Phil Smith lived in Vancouver and had three sons.
• Glenn Viehmeyer was a self-taught professor of botany in Nebraska and has descendents as well.
• George Lewis was "adopted" by the family, at least informally, but was always considered a member of the family. He and his wife still live near Mount Shasta, California.
